Jon Snow can’t be killed. Neither an assassination attempt by the Night Watch nor the end of the fantasy series “Game Of Thrones” could harm the charming bastard. HBO is now said to be working on a new spin-off series. In the spotlight: fan favorite Jon Snow.
We remember (spoiler alert!): At the end of the last “Game Of Thrones” season, the man with the sad eyes had to go through a lot. He killed his lover/aunt Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) and was subsequently banished. Snow returned to the Night Watch but chose to live beyond the Wall. In the spin-off show, we could probably find out what adventures lurk in the north.
Eight spin-off shows
It is unclear which “Game Of Thrones” characters will appear in the series. Only Kit Harrington is known, no other name has been confirmed. So fans can speculate. Maybe Daenerys in a dream sequence? Or fan favorite Tormund?
The spin-off show is far from the only one HBO is working on. Westeros is set to return to screens. First up is House Of The Dragon, a series set before the events of Game Of Thrones, which will be released on August 21st. Former “Doctor Who” Matt Smith stars in the lead role. In addition to “House Of The Dragon”, six other spin-off shows are to be created, three of them animated.
