Galatasaray made the first transfer of the new season by adding Abdülkerim Bardakcı to its staff. The new defender of the yellow-red people came to Istanbul.

Some important teams, especially Fenerbahçe, Galatasaray and Beşiktaş, made attempts to transfer the 27-year-old defender Abdülkerim Bardakcı, who played in Konyaspor. Konyaspor Club first signed an agreement with Fenerbahçe for a testimonial fee of 3.3 million Euros. However, it was claimed that there was a problem between Abdülkerim Bardakcı and Fenerbahçe regarding the price. Then Konyaspor shook hands with Galatasaray for 3.3 million Euros with bonuses.
Then Abdülkerim Bardakcı’s manager met with the yellow-red managers. As a result of the meeting, Abdülkerim Bardakcı reached an agreement with the yellow-red club.
