How do you feel on penalties?
“You are one-on-one with the player in front of you and you don’t know what the other side is thinking. He has all the control in which direction to shoot. But I always feel comfortable, we goalkeepers have nothing to lose in penalties. And if we save it, it becomes our memory.”
Best day and worst day?
The best day is the day we won 3 trophies in 2015. In my opinion that is the best period for all of us. I will tell you in the near term in the bad. My injury from 2020 until today and I hope it will be over soon.
Future plans?
“Actually, I still don’t have serious plans. I want to take time for myself when I quit football. My current plans are short-lived, we cannot know the future.”
What would you like to say about the fans?
“Our 12th player (in Turkish) They are really amazing. They stood behind us, they came to the stadium and supported us even in bad times. These fans are not something that every club can have. I am very happy that they are with us every moment. They have always been there for us, not just on good days. They our 12th player.”
