Galatasaray Çağdaş Faktoring Women’s Basketball Team announced that Kocaeli Women’s Basketball Team withdrew from the league and won the match that was supposed to be played today by 20-0.
In the statement of the yellow-red club, it was emphasized that the match was canceled and the following expressions were used:
“In the 8th week of the Halkbank Women’s Basketball Super League, the away match planned to be played between Galatasaray Çağdaş Faktoring and Kocaeli Women’s Basketball on Saturday, November 29, has been canceled due to our opponent’s decision to withdraw from the league. In accordance with the instructions of the Turkish Basketball Federation, our team won this match by forfeit, 20-0.”
