Galatasaray Club Presidential candidate Metin Öztürk said that they aspired to the task with the goal of becoming a champion for two consecutive years.
Metin Öztürk, who will compete with the former council chairman Eşref Hamamcıoğlu at the club’s extraordinary general assembly to be held on April 30, answered the questions of the AA correspondent.
Expressing that he grew up in a yellow-red community and therefore it was not difficult for him to take the decision to run for president, Öztürk said, “My name is Metin, I come from Metin Oktay. My father was the manager of Galatasaray Island for 30 years, he used to take me to the match. I grew up in Galatasaray. Emphasizing that Galatasaray is the club with the least debt among the big three, Öztürk said:
