The Dutch star used the following words about the racist comment made about him from his personal Instagram account:
“I can tolerate a lot of things said with the ambition to win, but even I am ashamed to comment on this racist comment in 2022. I will continue to fight like lions for the team. Even though my focus is on the field, I will never back down for this racist post.”
