National player Leroy Sané won his first championship in Turkey with Galatasaray. The club defended the title early with a lucky 4:2 (0:1) against Antalyaspor. City rivals and pursuers Fenerbahce won 3-0 (1-0) at Konyaspor, but are four points behind before the last matchday. It is the 26th championship for the record champions Galatasaray.

Sané and former national team captain Ilkay Gündoğan were in the starting line-up in the duel with Antalyaspor, but were substituted in the second half. The former Cologne player Ismail Jakobs was also part of the starting line-up. Former Schalke and Düsseldorf player Kaan Ayhan was one of the goalscorers with his first goal of the season.

Victor Osimhen made the decision with his goals in the 66th minute from a penalty and in the 88th minute, before Ayhan (90th + 5) scored the fourth goal. Previously, Soner Dikmen (45th + 3/62nd) had given outsiders Antalyaspor the lead twice. Mario Lemina (56th) had equalized the score at 1-1 for Galatasaray.
