An interview from the popular broadcaster fair miller the ERC candidate for mayor of Santa Coloma de Gramenet, Gabriel Ruffianhas served for the latter to throw down the gauntlet to the current mayoress, Nuria Parlon (PSC) in the form of a debate proposal, just over a month before the municipal elections.
“The residents of this city deserve projects to be confronted. From here I would like to offer the mayoress, Núria Parlon, a debatenot even a face to face, a conversation“, Ruffian has proposed.

The candidate of CKD added that, according to what the surveys show, “it seems that this will go from her [Núria Parlon] or us [ERC]”, argument with which the Republican candidate seeks to reduce the battle for mayor to a fight of two. Sources close to Parlon assure that the mayoress “has nothing to say” about Rufián’s proposal.

However, it is not the first proposal to hold an electoral debate in Santa Coloma de Gramenet. On April 14, the En Comú Podem candidate, Antonio Molinaasked the City Council in writing for “a public debate on the rest of the political options of the Colomense town hall”, and even proposed two places to develop it, the Teatre Sagarra or the Auditori Can Roig i Torres.
