Fynch-Hatton awards eyewear license to Wagner + Kühner

The fashion brand Fynch-Hatton is expanding its range to include eyewear. The corresponding license for the EU states and Switzerland was awarded to the Bad Kreuznach eyewear manufacturer Wagner + Kühner GmbH, the Mönchengladbach-based Fynch-Hatton Textil-Handelsgesellschaft mbH announced on Monday.

As part of the partnership, new models for men and women will come onto the market twice a year. “Sales will start on January 1, 2024 with prescription glasses, and sunglasses will be added to the range in summer 2024,” explained Fynch-Hatton. “The sales channels primarily include specialist opticians, but also clothing and sports retailers as well as the brand’s shop and store partners.”

The entry into the new product category comes “as part of the label’s consistent expansion course,” according to a statement. Last year, Fynch-Hatton expanded the range to include watches and jewelry as well as a Home & Living collection.

“Glasses are among the best-selling accessories overall. With the launch of the eyewear collection, we are expanding the brand experience and consistently pursuing our goal of strengthening the relevance and visibility of the brand,” explained Fynch-Hatton CEO Mathias Eckert in a statement.
