With a 6-1 victory over FC Marlène, Hovocubo has qualified for the final for the national championship. The opponent is not yet known, because FC Eindhoven dragged out a decision game against ASV Lebo.
Early in the game, Mo Attaibi gave the visitors from Heerhugowaard the lead. Then it was the turn of the team of trainer Sander van Dijk. Without any problems, they won 6-1, so the best-of-three is decided. Last week Hovocubo knew first duel already won 5-2.
In Eindhoven it was a lot more exciting. At halftime it was 1-1, which put the team from Amsterdam close to the final. The first game was won 3-1. However, due to a goal by Saïd Bouzambou after eight minutes in the second half, the match was won by the Brabant team.
The deciding game is in Eindhoven on Sunday. The winner is Hovocubo’s opponent in the final, which again consists of three matches.
