VNS United has signed Najib Taki as coach for next season. The current trainer comes over from HV/Veerhuys. Taki will lead the Amsterdam futsal team, which will make its debut in the premier league this season, together with current coach Ahmed Baghouz.
“I am proud to have been approached by VNS United. What appealed to me is the ambition and appreciation. I am confident that we will make a lot of progress in the coming period within and outside the association,” said Taki.
Football fairy tale
The Amsterdam VNS United was founded in 2016. From its foundation, things went very fast for the Amsterdammers. Within six years the club was promoted to the premier league. VNS United is currently second in the relegation group with twelve points from two games.
The current team of Taki HV/Veerhuys is first in that group. The game between VNS United and HV/Veerhuys is scheduled for February 10.
