Fürth (AP) – Defender Maximilian Bauer from SpVgg Greuther Fürth lost a front tooth in the home game against RB Leipzig. As coach Stefan Leitl said after the 1: 6 (1: 4) in the Bundesliga, Bauer had to go to the hospital after the game. Leitl was unable to provide any further details.
Bauer had to be replaced bleeding after a goal from Yussuf Poulsen in a duel. Simon Asta came on for the 22-year-old in the 75th minute.
