70 years after its creation, the foundation announces the construction of a new headquarters in Recoleta that will double its attention capacity and will strengthen research in oncohematological diseases.
The medicine of the future comes to the country thanks to FUNDALEU. The institution, a benchmark in the treatment and research of leukemias, lymphomas and myelomas, announced the start of construction of a new headquarters that will mark a before and after in medical care in Argentina.
The announcement was made within the framework of the traditional Solidarity Gala “Famous for Life”, which every year brings together figures from entertainment, science and business to raise funds to support the work of the foundation. This 2025, the gala will have a special meaning: contributions will contribute to the creation of the new building, a symbol of growth, commitment and hope.
Located at Uriburu 1520, in the Recoleta neighborhood, the new headquarters will have more than 4,400 m² distributed over nine floors and basement, doubling the current surface area and will incorporate decisive advances in the care and treatment of oncohematological diseases: The project will unify the three current headquarters and will allow hospitalization to be expanded by 30%, it will double the outpatient clinics, improving accessibility and waiting times. and will add boxes for outpatient treatments. It will also incorporate a cbetween blood donors and hemotherapy and state-of-the-art laboratories in genetics, cytometry and pathological anatomy, essential for early diagnosis and personalized treatments.

Founded in 1956 by Dr. Alfredo Pavlovsky, FUNDALEU established itself as a center of excellence in research, teaching and treatment of oncohematological diseases. With almost seven decades of history, it continues to train specialists, grant scholarships and promote scientific research throughout the country.
With this new headquarters, FUNDALEU reaffirms its commitment to life and takes a decisive step towards a more humane, precise and hopeful medicine.
