Eight companies in the region (Aviko, Bellewaerde, Pepsico Veurne, Bouwbedrijf Furnibo NV, Valcke Prefab Beton, Duco Ventilation & Sun Control, E-BO Enterprises and Picanol Group) are participating in the DVV Westhoek campaign.
Together they represent more than 180 open vacancies, with a particularly high demand for engineers, technical profiles, IT people and workers. To tackle the vacancy crisis, a change in mentality is essential, it sounds. With a playful awareness campaign, companies and municipalities want to convince people to stay and come to work in the region.
