Full stadiums and halls from March 20th according to the draft resolution for the federal-state conference in the coronavirus pandemic

In the draft resolution, which is available to the sports show, three relaxation steps are planned. From the second step, the question of spectators in sport is also regulated.

  • From March 4th, “those who have recovered and vaccinated (2G regulation or those who have recovered and vaccinated with a daily test or third vaccination (2GPlus regulation) can participate as spectators at major national events (including sport).” 40 percent of the respective maximum capacity is not exceeded with a maximum of 4,000 people, outdoors it is 60 percent with a maximum of 25,000 spectators. Protective measures such as medical masks and hygiene concepts should remain.
  • From March 20th, “all more extensive protective measures will no longer apply,” the paper says.

Implementation of the regulations is still a matter for the federal states. Professional football clubs had recently taken legal action against the restrictions in several federal states. Clubs in numerous sports criticized the regulations as inappropriate and saw themselves economically damaged by a lack of income.

More on that shortly
