‘Welcome to Blues Village Grolloo’. This weekend the village is dominated by the blues for the sixth time during the Holland International Blues Festival.
The program includes world artists such as John Fogerty, Beth Hart and The Teskey Brothers. For the first two it is a rematch. Beth Hart did not come last year due to health reasons and John Fogerty canceled due to the war in Ukraine.
Fogerty, frontman of Creedence Clearwater Revival, was welcomed with open arms to the public, Beth Hart will make up for it on Saturday, according to the organization. “It was a disappointment when Beth Hart had to cancel her performance at the last minute last June. For the visitors of course, but also for her. Hart was already there during the first edition and the Netherlands has a special place in her heart. It was one of the first areas where her special talent was noticed,” said a spokesperson for the organization.
