Bundesliga soccer club FSV Mainz 05 has failed in its friendly against south-west rivals Karlsruher SC.
Coach Bo Svensson’s team lost 2:5 (1:4) in the Bruchweg Stadium on Thursday against the second division team from Baden.
Marvin Wanitzek (2nd), Sebastian Jung (18th), Mikkel Kaufmann (35th), Florian Ballas (45th) and Kelvin Arase (74th) scored for KSC. Delano Burgzorg (31st) and Dennis Kaygin (90th) were successful for FSV.
