Dirty windows obstructed the view this weekend, and several supporters expressed their frustration. “This is one of the most bizarre areas in the Netherlands,” one of them writes on social media.
The commotion started on Saturday evening during the match in Tilburg between Willem II and De Graafschap. Upon arrival, supporters went wild on social media. “You should have washed the windows, my god,” one of them responds. Another adds: ‘You are treated like a criminal in such areas.’
Many Willem II supporters have also expressed their opinion: ‘As a Willem II supporter, I am ashamed of the prison in which the away fans are placed.’
Cleaning
Willem II has not yet responded to questions about the dirty branch. It is therefore not clear whether the club will clean it for the next matches. Ultimately, De Graafschap won 0-2. But the big question is whether the fans from Doetinchem even saw the goals.
