After we have had temperatures ‘well above normal’ recently, this will change in the coming days, explains NH weatherman Jan Visser. “The values are around normal and it has cooled down quite a bit. That takes some getting used to.”
Frost on the ground
After the sky cleared last night, De Bilt measured the first frost of the season. In our region it wasn’t too bad: there was only frost on the ground.
Because temperatures rose last night due to the arrival of more clouds, the frost was short-lived.
Today there will be showers over our region, which may alternate with hail showers. The sun also shows itself every now and then. There is a strong wind, especially on the coast, with gusts of 80 to 90 kilometers per hour possible.
On the cold side
There is a chance of more sun this afternoon, but the showers will remain and there will also be a chance of hail. It doesn’t get warmer than 8 or 9 degrees.
Tomorrow the wind will decrease, the wind will be strong to quite strong on the coast and on the IJsselmeer. At 7 degrees it is on the cold side. Although the showers will continue tomorrow, the sun will still make an appearance regularly. Jan Visser predicts some rain every now and then tomorrow evening.
