Frosinone-Roma, Huijsen scores and provokes the public

The Dutch defender, born in 2005, broke the deadlock with a great goal and then silenced the Stirpe fans. At that point the coach preferred to replace him at half-time

Every time you see Dan Huijsen play you have the impression of dealing with a predestined person. The great leap from Juve’s Next Gen to the first team, the debut in Serie A without trembling in the final of Milan-Juve, up to the move to Roma on a dry loan after being requested by José Mourinho. In the meantime, Daniele De Rossi arrives on the Giallorossi bench and Huijsen gains more and more space. Even though the player is owned by Juventus and Roma have no interest in valorising him. Huijsen will return to Turin in June, we’ll see if and how long Juve will be able to resist offers for a 2005-born player who has an important career ahead of him.

BUSY DAY

Huijsen, who had rejected Frosinone in favor of Roma in the last transfer window in January, was therefore pelted with boos from the Stirpe crowd. And he behaved like the champion he is, scoring a crazy goal with a right-footed shot from outside the area at the end of the first half. At that point Huijsen rejoiced, silencing the Stirpe and accompanying the gesture with the mocking smile of someone who knows himself to be very strong. The Frosinone players were furious and the referee Giua warned the Dutchman, in a very tense atmosphere at that point. And to avoid problems De Rossi, with an excellent reading of the situation, preferred to replace Huijsen at half-time.
