From top rider to top model: daughter (24) Steve Jobs shines on the cover of Vogue | show

with pictureEve Jobs, the 24-year-old daughter of the late Apple boss Steve, is working as a model. After recently signing with a well-known modeling agency, she can be seen next month on her first cover of the renowned magazine vogue.

“Thank you, thank you, thank you!” Eve focuses on Instagram to everyone who collaborated on the cover, on which she wears a sweater with bare legs underneath.

Modeling is like the second career for Eve, who studied “science, technology and society” at the exclusive University of Stanford. Jobs has previously been successful in equestrian sport: in 2019, she was ranked fifth in the list of the best under-25 riders worldwide, according to industry magazine Horse Sports. She might even go to the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, but had to cancel when they were postponed due to corona.

“I wanted to see how far I could get in this,” she recently told Vanity Fair. “It’s a difficult sport, especially because you only have two minutes in the ring and you’re working with something, an animal, which is unpredictable.” After graduating, she decided to stop riding. “I had done everything I wanted to achieve in this sport, I was at peace with it.”

Not long after, it was announced that she had signed at DNA Models, the agency that represents famous models such as Doutzen Kroes, Emily Ratajkowski and Kaia Gerber, the daughter of Cindy Crawford. She made her runway debut for fashion brand Coperni in Paris and will become the face of Louis Vuitton later this year. It is no coincidence that that is also the brand she now wears on the vogue-cover:

Posing is like equestrian sport

Eve soon discovered that modeling is quite similar to equestrian sports. In front of the camera, she also has to show what she’s worth in a few minutes. ,,I never expected that I would do this, but I suddenly thought: why not? It matched things I already knew, it stirs something in me that equestrian sports always did.”

The model is the youngest child of Steve Jobs, who also has daughters Lisa and Erin and son Reed. She lost her father to a rare form of pancreatic cancer when she was only 13 years old. Her mother, businesswoman and benefactor Laurene Powell Jobs, sees her as a ‘guiding light’.

“As my life evolves a bit, I’m going to find my own way to make a difference in the best way for as many people as possible,” said Eve. “I want to take my time, do it right and find something I love, just like I see my mother find ways to reach people.” For example, her mother invested $3.5 billion in an initiative to help people. most affected by the climate crisis.

Meanwhile, the smallest things remind Eve of her famous father, such as when she recently gave an interview that the journalist recorded with an Apple iPhone. “Every day is a beautiful memory for me. Every day, all day. Really. It gives me a warm feeling.”
