Police warning about the scammers performing as a police officer. Hannu Kivimäki

Police in Southwest Finland warns On Facebook from the scammers who act as an authority. Police have become aware of cases where criminals have appeared as police officers, claiming on the phone that a large loan had been applied for in the name of the person.

In one call, the caller said he was from the IT department of the Turku Criminal Police.

The purpose of the scam is to obtain the victim’s personal and bank information or online banking codes. If the victim is frightened of a surprising call, he may be in trouble as requested by the caller when he thinks he will save his money.

If you suspect a police officer is a cheater, you can, for example, call the case by calling the police in the Southwest Finland Police Department, by giving the name of the player who called the police and asking the gear to connect him.

Police calls for a quick act if they suspect they have given their bank information or online bank ID, or have made bank transfers that are suspicious of the accuracy.
