“Will die for my club”
Steep rise for Dario Pavkovic: The 27-year-old striker is moving from the sixth-tier Verbandsliga Nordbaden to the first-class Premier League in Bosnia. Pavkovic, dubbed the “greatest discovery of the winter preparations”, comes from SV Langensteinbach and will join HSK Posusje until the end of the season.
“I’m very happy to have signed for this great club. This is my father’s and my grandfathers’ club and city,” said the forward. “I hope we will achieve all the goals we have set ourselves. I will die for my club and my city.”
Posusje was promoted to the first division last season and is currently ranked tenth out of twelve (on the Premier League table).
