When the clocks change on Sunday night, BER Airport also changes to the winter flight schedule. 65 airlines fly to 122 destinations in 50 countries.

The much-maligned airport in the capital has lost its reputation as a provincial airport a little bit more, because there are a few long-haul connections.

Amsterdam, Zurich, Paris and Vienna continue to enjoy great popularity. Of course, destinations around the Mediterranean are in demand in winter. On offer: Spain, Italy, Turkey and France.

New for long-distance travel: Qatar even serves the route to Doha several times on some days. FTI brings travelers to the sunny beaches of the Arabian Peninsula, SmartLynx flies to Dubai three times a week and Scoot flies directly to Singapore every day. Hainan flies weekly to China and Norse non-stop to Fort Lauderdale near Miami. Also new: Ryanair now offers connections to Banja Luka in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Jet2 has Birmingham, Leeds and Newcastle on offer.
