2. VfL newcomer
Charalampos Makridis remains in the 2nd Bundesliga after relegation with SSV Jahn Regensburg. The 26-year-old offensive player signed a contract with VfL Osnabrück on Tuesday, but the promoted player did not provide any information on the duration.
“We have been interested in Charalambos Makridis for a long time and have followed his development closely. He can be used flexibly on both offensive flanks, but can also occupy the center and will increase the second division experience in our squad. He is characterized by a very good 1:1, his technical adeptness and his two-footed finish. The talks with him have shown that his character also suits VfL and the team,” says VfL sporting director Amir Shapourzadeh.
Makridis made 25 appearances for Regensburg last season and was directly involved in five goals (three goals, two assists). After Lars Kehl (21, from SC Freiburg II), he is the second new signing at VfL and is also free after his contract with SSV ends.
Charalampos “Babis” Makridis is the second signing for the upcoming season. The flexible offensive player changes from SSV Jahn Regensburg to Bremer Brücke. Good luck babes!!
