The 2024/2025 season is relaunching Italian football in Europe at important levels. One factor can certainly be the midfield, and there is a fact where Serie A is dominating. In the top 10 of the most prolific midfielders (not counting wingers and attacking midfielders) in the main European leagues between club and national team, half play in Italy and occupy almost all the top positions.
