NoThere’s no better definition than “artists’ photographer” for Claudius Abbot. Roman, son of a painter, a life spent telling contemporary art with his photos and the complicated relationship between the artist and his creature.

Sensitive surface it is an exhibition that alternates 150 images between large photos on the wall and specimens in caseswhere Mario Schifano, Pino Pascali, a very young Carmelo Bene, Jannis Kounellis, Giuseppe Penone appear, among others.
The itinerary – supplemented by audio contributions by Achille Bonito Oliva, Luisa Laureati, Piero Pizzi Cannella – proceeds by thematic nuclei and ends with Abate’s experiments including Contacts with the sensitive surface of 1972.
