“The promotion celebration was definitely the highlight,” Fleming recalls the 2014-2015 season. “Halfway through the season we were still in the middle bracket, but after the winter break we hardly lost anymore.”
Adaptability
Vlaming: “He was always able to move well. At that moment he still played at Telstar, but of course we were of a much less level. Only that was not annoyed at all. I think his adaptability is a good quality of him.”
After two seasons VVH, Correia left for VV IJmuiden. Then he made the move to VV Katwijk. With that club he won the national title with the amateurs twice. Since this season, Correia has been responsible for the group at Telstar. “I regularly speak to him,” says Krol. Just like Correia, he also lives in Velserbroek. “I still wish him success for a competition.”
