The top-seeded US professional Taylor Fritz won the ATP tournament in Delray Beach and successfully defended his title. In the final of the $742,350 competition, which was postponed by a day due to rain, the tenth in the world rankings beat his compatriot Tommy Paul 6:2, 6:3 on Monday.
The only German winner of the tournament so far is Tommy Haas, who triumphed in his adopted home of Florida in 2006.
