In a new chapter of tensions within the ruling party, Daniel “El Gordo Dan” Parisini, the controversial libertarian streamer with a direct access to mileism, launched a strong attack against Foreign Minister Gerardo Werthein. Through a tweet, he questioned his performance in an episode involving Donald Trump and a misunderstanding about the Argentine elections. The message generated a stir on networks and exposed the cracks within the libertarian front.

The conflict arose from a statement by Trump, who — according to Parisini — believes that this year’s legislative elections in Argentina are presidential. In his program La Misa, the influencer had already warned that the former US president interpreted the midterm elections as a kind of evaluation of the Milei Government. Trump would have hinted that, if the ruling party loses, the country would be under a Kirchnerist government, which could affect support from the United States. For “Fat Dan”, this misunderstanding would have been avoided with better diplomatic management on the part of Werthein.

In his tweet, “El Gordo Dan” was blunt: As we warned in La Misa the other day, Donald thinks that the upcoming Argentine elections are the presidential ones and not the “midterms” (the midterm or legislative ones), and therefore he obviously said that if we lose (and in his head the president stops being Milei and the kukas return) then the United States obviously will not help an Argentina with a Kirchnerist president. But hey, if only we had a chancellor who, instead of calling Luis Juez to ask for “forgiveness” for the nonsense that a fat idiot said on Twitter, would listen to what Donald Trump has been saying on the subject, or better yet, listen to the SUMMARY of what Donald Trump has been saying in La Misa, things would have been different.”

The message alludes to an alleged call from Werthein to Senator Judge to calm tensions due to previous offensive publications by Parisini that would have generated noise within the government.

The background of the crossing exposes a lack of coordination in official communication, just at a time of high international sensitivity. Trump, an influential figure close to Milei’s libertarian ideas, would not have received precise information about the nature of the Argentine elections. This year’s legislative elections will renew part of Congress, but not the presidency. However, his statements generated confusion and forced the Executive to come out to clarify the situation.
