Led by defending champion Severin Freund, all five German ski jumpers are involved in the individual decision of the Ski Flying World Championships at Kulm. The world champion, seeded for the competition on Friday and Saturday, jumped 206.5 meters in qualifying, well ahead of his great rival Peter Prevc, who landed 188.5 meters. In training, however, the Slovenian had proven his top form with a jump of 235.5 meters – only two meters below Freund’s hill record.
