The Swiss pocket manufacturer Friday and the Paris fashion brand Études Studio have come together for exclusive cooperation and jointly published a limited series by Messenger Bags from recycled truck tarpaulins.

“With this collaboration, we brought together our passion for reuse used materials and the bold artistic vision of Études Studio,” says Giulia Chéhab, Holistic Designer at Friday. “Every pocket carries the traces of their first life on the street and the distinctive visual features of our brands.”

For the limited edition of the bag, Friday chose the most beautiful, worn truck tarpaulins in blue, which are similar to the characteristic blue of Études Studio, as well as some pieces with additional accent colors. The used tarpaulins were then disassembled, washed and cut at the headquarters from Friday in Zurich and composed by a long -term European production partner.

Both brands emphasize their common values. The Paris fashion brand Études Studio, founded in 2012 by Jérémie Egry and Aurélien Arbet, combines fashion, art and publishing and has conquered a unique place in the fashion industry with their culturally rooted approach.

The graphic designers Markus and Daniel Freitag designed the first Friday Messenger-Bag from used truck tarpaulins, old bicycle tubes and discarded car deeds in 1993. Since then, every product has been unique. This distinctive design philosophy was quickly received in the creative scenes of Europe and Asia.

The limited edition of the Messenger BAG will be available in selected shops from July 10, 2025.
