Fresenius University teaches ‘Luxury Management’ with Rimowa

Rimowa goes to university.

The Cologne-based suitcase specialist Rimowa and the Fresenius University of Applied Sciences have entered into a partnership for a master’s degree program called “Luxury Management,” the Cologne-based university announced on Thursday.

The English-taught course provides knowledge of marketing, sales and strategies for luxury brands and products in order to prepare graduates for a career in the ever-changing luxury industry. The partnership with Rimowa, based on a holistic 360° approach, offers a wide range of activities and projects as well as joint teamwork and practical projects and networking events. In addition, courses and keynote speeches are held by professors for employees of the suitcase specialist, which is part of the French luxury goods group.

“With the comprehensive offer as part of the partnership, you can [die Studierenden] apply their knowledge and skills in a dynamic environment and prepare themselves optimally for the challenges of the luxury industry,” says Professor Marc Paternot, dean of the “Luxury Management” degree program.
