SC Freiburg quickly managed to clear things up against FSV Mainz 05. A red card also broke Mainz’s neck.
SC Freiburg achieved a clear victory at the end of the 12th matchday in the Bundesliga. In the end it was 4:0 (2:0) against the Kellerkinder from FSV Mainz 05. Lukas Kübler (12th minute), Vincenzo Grifo (26th), Johan Manzambi (50th) and Patrick Osterhage (90th) scored for Freiburg against overwhelmed Mainz, where Paul Nebel was sent off in the 28th minute after a hard foul with a straight red card.
With the win, the Freiburg team have established themselves in the middle of the table and are now in eighth place with 16 points. Mainz, on the other hand, are still deep in crisis and are at the bottom of the table with six points.
