Streich didn’t see the scene after the goal in the 38th minute, when Demirovic ran in the direction of Höler’s corner flag and both saluted. “Of course they don’t think about the military when they do something like that,” Streich said after the game during the press conference, also against the background of the war in Ukraine. “But of course I have to look at it and then we’ll talk about it.”
