The telecommunications service provider freenet completed its share buyback program, which it started in June, on Tuesday and spent a total of 60 million euros on it.
A volume of up to 100 million euros was available. As part of the 2025 buyback program, 2,166,964 treasury shares were purchased at an average price of 27.69 euros, freenet announced. This corresponds to 1.82 percent of the share capital.
In XETRA trading, freenet shares temporarily rose by 0.61 percent to 29.52 euros.
