The Public Prosecution Service asked the Dutch Disciplinary Court to dismiss the Ypres Department Procurer JL. On February 6, 2025, however, it was decided to put him back with two degrees to the function of substitute procurer of the King. However, the West-Flemish public prosecutor does not accept that decision and has appealed.
The OM also asked the dismissal for a Bruges public prosecutor’s lawyer. The Dutch -speaking disciplinary court did not accept this. AV received a suspension of twelve months on February 20, 2025. The public prosecutor of West Flanders also appeals against that decision.
