Frasers Group increases stake in N Brown

The British trading group Frasers Group Plc has again acquired shares in the e-commerce specialist N Brown. In a regulatory announcement to the London Stock Exchange, the company said it was selling its stake in N Brown Group Plc. increased from 17.6 to 18.1 percent in the past week. The Frasers Group bought into N Brown in October last year and has increased its stake several times since then.

The parent company of retail chains such as Sports Direct, House of Fraser and Flannels has therefore bought around 2.2 million additional shares in N Brown since the beginning of July and now holds a total of almost 83.4 million shares in the online retailer, which includes the trading platforms JD Williams and Jacamo as well as owned by the Simply Be brand.

The Frasers Group thus continued its active investment policy. Most recently, the group joined the fast fashion provider Boohoo and the online retailer AO World. The group also holds shares in the Metzingen fashion group Hugo Boss, the clothing retailer Asos and the leather goods specialist Mulberry.
