The Fraport Skyliners from Frankfurt suffered a narrow defeat in the Basketball Bundesliga (BBL) when new coach Luca Dalmonte made his debut.
The relegation candidate had to admit defeat to ratiopharm Ulm with 58:61 (25:26).
The Italian Dalmonte (58) had replaced interim coach Klaus Perwas during the week, who had stepped in after Diego Ocampo was fired.
Frankfurt is penultimate with 12:38 points, followed by the JobStairs Giessen 46ers (10:36). Ulm (34:14) jumped to third place.
