Fraport share in green: Frankfurt Airport attracted more passengers and freight volumes in November

Frankfurt Airport handled around 4.6 million passengers in November.

That was 12.2 percent more than in the same period last year, but still 9.4 percent less than in November 2019. The freight volume also increased in November, by 6 percent to 174,258 tons, as Fraport also announced. The number of flight movements at the Rhine-Main hub rose by 8.5 percent to 35,310 take-offs and landings.

Fraport’s international partner airports also mostly recorded growth. The volume at Ljubljana Airport in Slovenia grew significantly by 37.3 percent to 91,786 passengers. Passenger numbers at the 14 Greek regional airports rose by 13 percent to 784,981 passengers. The Brazilian airports of Fortaleza and Porto Alegre, however, recorded a decline of 12.5 percent with around 1.0 million passengers.

The Fraport share was temporarily trading 1.05 percent higher at 55.72 euros via XETRA.
