Frédéric Frans will be head coach of Helmond Sport next season. The 37-year-old Belgian signs for two seasons in Helmond. He is currently trainer of Jong KV Mechelen, the club with which Helmond Sport has a partnership.
Helmond Sport sees the former defender as a trainer with a ‘strong vision on development, discipline and team culture’. The Belgian will succeed Jurgen Seegers, who will leave the club from the Kitchen Champion Division after one season.
“With Frédéric, we bring in a trainer who fits the ambitions and identity of Helmond Sport. In our conversations with him, we noticed his drive and we immediately clicked. We see him as someone who can develop players and make the team play with a lot of energy. We look forward to working together towards the new season,” says Dirk Jan Derksen, technical manager of Helmond Sport.
