The relegation of the Fraport Skyliners from the Basketball Bundesliga (BBL) is getting closer and closer.
Despite a strong final phase at Brose Bamberg, the Frankfurt team lost 72:75 (37:50) on Sunday and conceded their third defeat in a row.
The bottom of the table from Hesse is six points behind a non-relegation zone with seven games left. Bamberg, on the other hand, is keeping up with the play-off places with their 13th win of the season.
