After the recent defeats against the title contenders, the soccer players from Eintracht Frankfurt have returned with an easy win.
On Friday evening, Frankfurt won 4-0 (3-0) against bottom-placed Carl Zeiss Jena and jumped to fourth place in the table. Most recently, the Hessians had clearly lost against leaders VfL Wolfsburg (1: 4) and defending champion Bayern Munich (2: 4).
Verena Hanshaw (13th), Lara Prasnikar (16th), Laura Freigang (45th) and Barbara Dunst (53rd) scored for Frankfurt. Jena, on the other hand, suffered their 16th defeat in the 19th game – with only five points, the team is teetering on relegation.
