France removes 100,000 dangerous Chinese products from the market: ‘Violations on this scale are unprecedented’

The French government calls on the European Commission to take stricter action against online stores such as Temu and Shein. Authorities examined toys, baby care items and electronics and found hazardous chemicals, loose parts and risks of short circuits and fire. Nearly half of the products examined did not meet European safety standards.
