The handball foxes have to play in the European League against Izvidac Ljubuski in Bosnia-Herzegovina on Tuesday (6.45 p.m. / Dyn).

For the Berliners, this will be a journey with the unknown into the unknown. Because coach Jaron Siewert (29) doesn’t know much about the opponent and fills his decimated squad with three unknown players.

Siewert explains: “We will arrive with the permanent staff available to us plus Silas Overby, plus Marvin Kix, plus Florian Budde.”

Please who? Silas Overby (18/back left) and Florian Budde (18/back right) both play in the A-youth, middle player Marvin Kix (21) is the captain of the 2nd team.

Siewert hopes to be able to use as many talents as possible in Bosnia in order to protect his stars, because the Berliners have to play in Gummersbach just two days after the Euro game.

The Foxes-Caoch: “The opponent is difficult to assess. There is little video material about the Bosnians. I expect a heated atmosphere awaits us, with a small hall packed with many spectators.”
