Jason Isbell will release his first solo acoustic album “Foxes In The Snow” on March 7th. It is released on his own label Southeastern Records and was recorded in New York City in just five days at the legendary Electric Lady Studios in October 2024.

The singer-songwriter used a 1940 Martin 0-17 mahogany acoustic guitar to record all of the songs. The single “Bury Me” gives a first impression of what it sounds like. You can once again hear Isbell’s virtuoso guitar playing and his haunting singing.

With “Foxes In The Snow”, the musician is taking new paths after “Weathervanes”, which he recorded with his band The 400 Unit in 2023 – also to leave the usual path after numerous awards (including six Grammys).

Jason Isbell also shines as an actor

He showed in Martin Scorsese’s “Killers Of The Flower Moon” that Isbell is not only a great singer and a force of nature on stage, but also a formidable actor. His next film is called “One Spoon Of Chocolate” (directed by RZA).

Of course, the busy artist can also be seen on tour. There will be two Intimate Evenings With Jason Isbell in Germany in February, presented by ROLLING STONE.
