After the embarrassing bankruptcy (27:32) at the bottom of the table in Minden and the shaky victory against Hanover (32:30), the handball foxes have found their way back to success.

In Hamburg, the Berliners had no problems, clearly won in front of 4400 fans at HSV 37:28 (19:14) and defended the lead in the table.

Apparently the foxes have dealt with the poor performance against Minden well, everything is going as planned. The defense is compact at the back, the front is pressed with speed on the tube, and the quick throw almost perfectly converts into goals.

Sports director and Sky expert Stefan Kretzschmar (49) was really jittery before the game: “Hamburg’s victory against the lions scared me. I had a lot of question marks in my head.” They dissolved, because all top performers improve.

In the end, the best scorers are Jacob Holm and Milos Vujovic (7 goals each), and Lasse Andersson scores 6 times this time after a meager two goals from two games.

Coach Jaron Siewert (28): “Of course we’re missing the two points from Minden, but this was a highly focused performance from the first to the last minute. We want to continue like this.”
