Four underage suspects have been arrested after assaulting a 14-year-old, among others. The assault happened on Friday on the Randweg in Oud-Beijerland. The victims, including minors, suffered minor injuries.
The suspects are two fifteen-year-old boys from Oud-Beijerland, one sixteen-year-old boy from Heinenoord and one fifteen-year-old boy from Numansdorp. Several youths were witnesses. Some minor bystanders also received a blow. The police are currently talking to youth workers to find a suitable solution for bystanders and witnesses of the incident.
Shortly after the incident, the first two suspects were arrested. After further investigation, the police arrested two more suspects on Saturday morning. Police are continuing to investigate the assault and are speaking to witnesses.
