Four baby gooses washed in Ostend after oil spill in the port of Antwerp: “They were dying of the cold”

“They had probably only just been born when it happened.” Four gray baby goslings that were stained after the oil leak in the port of Antwerp were now collected and washed at the Shelter for Birds and Wild Animals (VOC) in Ostend. The caregivers there already have extensive experience with oil victims. The four goslings are the only ones of the 300 stained birds that could be captured and cared for. This came to mind: a warm bath with Dreft, although the washing procedure is not so obvious.
