Four Ajax players in the final selection of the Dutch Juniors

Brian Brobbey, Devyne Rensch, Ryan Gravenberch and Kenneth Taylor are part of the selection of the Dutch Juniors. The next week and a half there are European Championship qualifiers against Young Bulgaria and Young Switzerland on the calendar.

According to national coach Louis van Gaal, the fact that Gravenberch and Rensch were with the Young Orange also has to do with the importance of the game against leader Young Switzerland. Van Gaal made that clear today at his press conference in Zeist.

The Dutch Juniors will play against the Swiss in Deventer on Tuesday, who have 13 points after 6 matches. Three points more than the Netherlands, but also played with one more game. Bulgaria will be the opponent in Sofia on Friday.

Former Ajax players Mitchel Bakker (Bayer Leverkusen Jurgen Ekkelenkamp (Hertha BSC), Kjell Scherpen (Oostende), Neraysho Kasanwirjo (FC Groningen) and Quinten Timber (FC Utrecht)) have also received an invitation from Junior National coach Erwin van de Looi. Haarlemmer Ludovit Reis (Hamburger SV) is also in the selection, while former FC Volendm player Micky van de Ven (VFL Wolfsburg) is missing due to an injury.
